GARMIN Nüvi 300 Series

Compact GPS receiver with very fast auto-routing, voice guidance, color display with touchscreen, integrated world and Europe/Africa map, pre-loaded detailed maps of Europe or Europe and North America plus USB and BlueTooth interface. Equipped with traffic receiver, MP3 and audio book player plus image viewer. Language and travel guide available as options. Well suited for all kinds of vehicles but also suitable as hand held devices.

The models of the GARMIN Nüvi 300 series (Nüvi 360T and 370) provide very fast automatic route calculation, visual and voice guidance, are easy to use, have a large, easy to read color display with touch screen, an extremely sensitive antenna, an integrated world map (overview) plus a base map of Europe, Africa and the near East.
The model Nüvi 360T has 1.87 GB built-in memory with pre-loaded detailed maps of all of Europe. The detailed maps plus the pre-recorded voice prompts occupy approximately 1.46 GB of memory.
The model Nüvi 370 has 3.83 GB built-in memory with pre-installed detailed maps of all of Europe and all of North America (Canada and USA). The detailed maps plus the pre-recorded voice prompts occupy approximately 2.56 GB of memory.
Both models have a speech computer to announce the names of the roads, to speak words and phrases of the language guides and to play audible books. They are also equipped with a BlueTooth interface to communicate with mobile phones which have the required communication capabilities in order to call car rental offices, hotels, restaurants etc. who's phone numbers are stored on the GPS with a single touch on the screen. They can also act as a hands-free extension set to the phones. In addition, both models have a slot for an optional SD memory module to store additional data and support the TMC receiver to incorporate traffic news (TMC receiver is included). The Nüvis provide navigation information outdoors, in a car, in a train or even in an airplane (see MapSource examples).

• User interface in up to 22 languages (Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (UK and US), Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish).
• Voice prompting in up to 23 languages: Afrikaans, Catalans, Danish, Dutch, English (Australia, UK and US), Estonian, Finnish, French (Canadian and French), German, Italian, Luxembourgish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Europe), Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
• Integrated world map (overview) with countries of all continents including major cities.
• Integrated base map of Europe, Africa and the near East with countries, waters, towns, highways, major roads and city maps.
• Memory for more detailed maps with local roads, crossings and addresses of points of interest:
  • Model Nüvi 360T: 1.87 GB with pre-installed detailed maps of all of Europe. These detailed maps plus the pre-recorded voice prompts occupy approximately 1.46 GB of memory.
  • Model Nüvi 370: 3.83 GB with pre-installed detailed maps of all of Europe and all of North America (Canada and USA). These detailed maps plus the pre-recorded voice prompts occupy approximately 2.56 GB of memory.
  The unused memory is available to store additional data, such as additional detailed maps, waypoint files and pictures.
• Slot for SecureDigital memory card (SD memory cards available as an option)
• Routing speed: 14.97 (see GPS Routing Speed for details).
• Supports FM traffic news receiver (TMC receiver included). Receives and processes traffic news messages broadcasted by radio stations. If the GPS receives a message about a traffic jam, blocked road etc. along the planned route, it can automatically compute a detour. Traffic news messages are broadcasted by many radio stations in various European countries including Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. These messages are broadcasted for free and do not require any subscriptions. The TMC receiver works independent from the car radio and finds stations with traffic news messages automatically.
• BlueTooth interface to communicate with mobile phones which have the required communication capabilities in order to call hotels, restaurants, car rental offices etc. whose phone numbers are stored on the GPS with a single touch on the screen. They can also act as a hands-free extension set to the mobile phones. The Nüvi 360T/370 are equipped with a built-in microphone. An external microphone is available as an option for both models.
• The travel kit provides the following features:
  • MP3 player, listen to your favorite music while travelling
  • Audible book reader, reads audible books; download audible books from the Internet
  • Picture viewer, displays pictures and provides various options, such as zooming, rotation etc.

• Suited as a hand held device or to be used in any kind of vehicles. Comes with power cable and mounting kit with suction cup for quick mounting and dismounting to easily remove the GPS receiver (seamless switching between cars, theft protection etc.), does not require any installation.

• Easy to operate via touchscreen.
• Manual or automatic switching of the display between daytime and nighttime, based on time and the current position (changes the colors of the display between sunset and sunrise for more comfortable viewing) Daytime: bright background, nighttime: dark background.

• Powered by built-in battery (lasts up to 8 h) or by an external 12/24 V power source, e.g. from a car's cigarette lighter (power cord included).
• Short time to first fix (TTFF¹: approx. 15 seconds after a warm start, meaning there are valid coordinates of the satellites available, or approx. 45 seconds after a cold start, meaning there are no valid coordinates of the satellites available).
• Data exchange with PC via USB connector (connection cable included).
• Supports WAAS/EGNOS
• Firmware stored in Flash-Memory, can be updated by the user
