The GARMIN Oregon 450 and 450t are very easy to use thanks to their touchscreen and their user friendly graphical interface. They supports multiple languages, have an integrated base map, an electronic compass and a barometrical altimeter. The Oregon 450t has a preloaded topographical map of Europe scale 1:100'000 and 3.65 GB built-in memory to store optional maps with even more detailed information, such as local roads, restaurants and points of interest (the pre-installed base and topographic map of Europe consume approx. 3.05 GB of the available memory). The Oregon 450 has 900 MB built-in memory of which about 100 MB are used by the preloaded base map. In addition, both models have a slot for a standard µSD memory card. They can receive data from an optional chest belt with a heart rate monitor and also from an optional speed and cadence sensor for bikes. The built-in USB interface supports data exchange with a PC and they support also wireless data exchange with other GPS units which provide wireless communication, see detailed description.
