The following lists of changes are based on information provided by GARMIN. Changes or improvements which we consider important or especially useful are shown highlighted.

To view the current firmware version, complete the following steps:

1. Power on your Quest.
2. Press the MENU button twice to get to the main menu.
3. Select "About Quest" and press the OK button. The current firmware version will be displayed.
4. Press OK to go back to the previous page.

Each upgrade replaces the complete firmware in the GPS, which means you need to install only the version you wish to apply. There is no need to install any previous versions.

Changes made from version 4.00 to 4.10: (released 04/16/2007)

1. Added Mac USB support.
2. London congestion zone fix .

1. Fixed problem when adding via points to off-road routes.
2. Fixed problem introduced in version 3.90 when entering the search string too fast.
3. Fixed problem when using multiple waypoint categories on a single point.
4. Added support for considering time restricted roads when calculating a route.

Changes made from version 3.70 to 3.90: (released 04/07/2006)

1. Added support for Topo Great Britain maps.
2. Fixed lock-up that would occur on avoidance setup page when the street name was too long.
3. Added missing characters used in the cardinal direction display on the map page.
4. Changed contour line colors to be different than the path color.
5. Fixed problem with correct elevation units not being used on the map after switching to meters.
6. Corrected address city search problem that resulted in cities in the list that were not valid.
7. Changed zoom scale at which certain point types show up on the map to reduce clutter.

4. Corrected display of large German cardinal letters on the Map page.
5. Added the display of tide stations.
6. Improved ability to search addresses that contain extended (alphanumeric) house numbers.

5. Made routes with via points retain their via points if a detour is requested.
6. Allow car and car repair symbols to be used for user waypoint symbols.
7. Resolved issue with the Turn Review page display oriented incorrectly with no route line.
8. Resolved issue with bearing field display diamonds (text language dependent).
9. Resolved sporadic shutdowns while navigating.
10. Fixed issue with the South Indonesian grid.
