The GARMIN StreetPilot III provides automatic route calculation, visual and voice guidance, is easy to use, has a large, easy to read color display, an extremely sensitive antenna, an integrated world map (overview) plus a detailed map of Europe, Africa and the near East. There is a slot for an additional memory module to store even more local information, such as local roads, restaurants and points of interest. The StreetPilot provides
navigation information outdoors, in a car, in a train or even in an airplane (see MapSource examples).

- Suited to be installed in any kind of vehicles. Dash mount kit with adhesive folie and shutter for quick mounting and dismounting to easily remove the GPS receiver (seamless switching between cars, theft protection etc.).

- PAGE: Switch between the various navigation screens
- POWER (lamp symbol): Power on/off
- QUIT: Quit menu option
- ENTER: Select menu item or accept data input
- (ZOOM) OUT: Display a larger area with less details
- (ZOOM) IN: Display a smaller area with more details
- (Rocker) Move pointer or highlight (left, up, down, right)
- FIND: Search for waypoint, city or exit. If there are one or more maps stored in the optional memory module, additional search functions for points of interest, addresses and intersections are available.
