GARMIN GPSmap 64 series |
All items are available while supply lasts. If you have questions, please use our contact form. |
The models of the GPSmap 64 series support the Russian GLONASS satellites |
Rugged hand held GPS devices with large color display, integrated base map, auto-routing, slot for uSD memory card and USB interface. The GPSmap 64s and 64st are additionally equipped with an electronic compass, a barometrical altimeter, a connector for an external antenna and they support wireless communication with compatible devices. The GPSmap 64st comes furthermore with a pre-installed topographic map of Europe. All models support the US GPS and the Russian GLONASS satellites.
The devices of the GARMIN GPSmap 64 series are very easy to use thanks to their rocker key and user friendly graphical interface. They consume little power, support multiple languages and have an integrated base map. These devices can not only receive the signals of the US GPS satellites, but also those of the Russian GLONASS satellites. This provides improved accuracy of the position indication, particularly under difficult conditions such as in cities with tall buildings,
in narrow valleys, near steep cliffs and in dense forests. This is especially helpful when searching for geocaches. All models come with a pre-installed world-wide base map. They provide 4 GB rsp. 5 GB free built-in memory to store even more detailed information, such as local roads, restaurants, public buildings and other points of interest. All models are equipped with an USB interface, can receive data from an optional heart rate monitor and/or an optional speed/cadence sensor and are equipped
with a slot for an optional uSD memory card in the battery compartment.
The GPSmap 64s and GPSmap 64st are both equipped with a built-in electronic compass, a barometrical altimeter, a connector for an external antenna and they can exchange data wireless with compatible devices. Additionally, the GPSmap 64st comes with a pre-installed topographic map of Europe. The extremely sensitive antenna provides navigation information outdoors, in a car, in a train or even in an airplane (see
MapSource examples).
